Down Syndrome WA can offer support and information to adults with Down syndrome, their families and those within their networks.

Our Support Team is available to discuss any issues with you, provide you with relevant information and resources where we can, or refer you to other services or sources of information. You might wish to talk with someone about a health or well-being concern, have some queries about employment or post school education, be looking for recreation and leisure options or need some help planning for the future.

We encourage adults to participate at all our events. We provide opportunities for adults to engage in community activities with their peers and increase life skills in real life settings through Aim High. We are committed to creating opportunities which empower people with Down syndrome to have a say.

We are currently working on making information about our library resources available for you online. Please be patient while this is being done. Meanwhile you can continue to borrow resources by contacting our office. Please call or email us, or you may prefer to come in and check out what we have for yourself.

Our new booklet ‘Dream Big’ offers opportunities, information, skills and encouragement for young adults with Down syndrome and their families. It aims to raise their aspirations and expectations, and help in preparing for a fulfilling life after school. Free to people with Down syndrome and families, $10 each for professionals and available from our office. Contact the office to ask for the booklet to be posted out to you (we will need to charge postage) or just pop in and pick up a copy.
