Playgroups for children with Down syndrome are often organised by parents when there is a demand for them. At present there are no formal playgroups running, but the Mumraisers organise regular get-togethers for familes with young children.

Family Support Worker Julie Ireland hosts a morning tea for new parents approximately every 3 months. It is held at the DSWA office in Bentley. Details of upcoming events are available in the newsletter and on our website.

Carson Street School in East Victoria Park hosts two My Time groups that provide parent support and early learning skills for children aged 1-4, most of whom have a diagnosis of Down syndrome or develomental delay.  For more information or to enrol contact the school on 9361 7500.
